Construction directory
Our construction directory is a national panel of suppliers for the delivery of capital works projects over $500,000.
This directory is for NZSPA-led projects, tendered by:
- region
- value band
- project type
- delivery method.
We invite suppliers in the directory to tender for these projects in the first instance.

Accredited suppliers for asbestos-related works
To make sure all asbestos-related activities in schools are conducted safely and effectively and are compliant with health and safety regulations, we have a list of accredited suppliers for asbestos-related work.
It’s compulsory to use suppliers on the accredited supplier list for asbestos-related services in schools.
The list is split into 3 service categories:
- asbestos consultants (asbestos surveyors and licenced asbestos assessors)
- licenced asbestos removalists
- IANZ accredited laboratories – asbestos analysis.
Apply to be an accredited supplier
All service providers in the asbestos industry, including consultants, removal specialists and analysis laboratories, are encouraged to apply to be on the Ministry’s accredited list through the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS). Applications are reviewed every 6 weeks.

Professional services directory
This is a specialised sub-panel of the All-of-Government (AoG) construction consultancy services (CCS) panel. It is only available for NZSPA-led projects.
This directory currently covers quantity surveying services, master planning and lead design services.
Joining the professional services directory
To join, a supplier needs to be a member of the AoG CCS panel.

Property programme and project management panel
NZSPA and schools must engage property programme or project managers from the property project and management (PPPM) panel.
Schools can refer to the list of panel members to find project managers or project administrators in their region.
This panel was established in December 2024. We’re not seeking new applications at the moment, but future opportunities to join the panel will be communicated through GETS.

Offsite manufactured building panel
The offsite manufacturing supplier panel is a list of suppliers that we’ve pre-approved to help us build and deliver quality learning spaces.
Buildings constructed offsite and delivered to schools are flexible and can be designed for teaching, staff and student support spaces.
